Kenya Volunteer –
14 Days Community support, cultural insights and wildlife (Detailed itinerary)
A tour of utmost
mutual benefit to you and the host communities. It takes you right into
the heart of Kenya
to camp, interact and live (and for the adventurous type may opt for a
home-stay) with the locals of Mulot which is off the main tourist circuit
of Masai Mara Game Reserve. People here have no direct benefit from
tourism activities as in the case in main tourist destinations. They
depend on farming but the area has erratic rains which in most cases
leave them with meager resources to live on. Clean drinking water and decent
houses are beyond their reach. Our activities here are geared to improve
their living standard - our stay here will help to build/install water
tank(s) or build house(s) for some less endowed families. This is a noble way of helping them benefit
directly from tourism which otherwise will not have come their way.
